Artist Production

Are you an independent artist looking to cut your next single, or EP? Or a band looking for a space to record? We offer day rates, as well as hourly rates to suit whatever your project needs. We have producers on staff who can manage the project for you! So what does this usually look like?

Pre-Production: When you first reach out, we will discuss the project, and see what it needs. How much studio time will it take to record what you want? How many songs are we doing? What instruments do we want on your song(s)?​ What does the budget look like, and how can we achieve the sound we want within budget? The producer will also make charts of your songs for the musicians.

Booking The Session: After discussing your project, budget, songs, etc; you and the producer will pick a date for the session, and the producer will hire musicians.

Tracking Day: Once everything is planned, charted, and scheduled, we have tracking day. The musicians will listen to your work tape of your song, and follow along on the chart. Then, we will answer any questions the band has in regards to your song. After that, we will record! Then, we will do any fixes that any of the musicians need, and add more parts to your song as needed. After that, we move on to the next song!

Vocal Day: After we are done recording all of the instruments for each of your songs, we will move on to vocals. Sometimes, this is a separate day, and sometimes this is the same day. Here, we will focus on recording a lead vocal first, then add any harmonies/background vocals the song needs.

Mixing: Once everything is recorded, the engineer will mix your song. This means that they will adjust the volume, tonal balance, dynamics, as well as add any FX or automation as needed to make the song sound polished. Once complete, they will send you the final mix of the song. From there, you can ask for the mix to be revised as needed.

Since every project is different, and requires different levels or services, we don't post rates for production. Feel free to reach out and discuss your project with one of our producers, and we can give you an estimate of what it will cost to complete your project!
